Heal the Bay @ Tales & Toys!



Come and join us Friday, July 11th for First Friday’s on Abbot Kinney Blvd. (really the 2nd since the 1st was the 4th)!

From 5:30pm – 6:30pm Tales & Toys will be hosting Jo from Heal the Bay. Jo will be here to talk specifically with the kids about why the ocean is important for marine life and people! She will also talk about the sources of ocean pollution and what we can all do to protect our oceans. She will be bringing along some activity guides, stickers, bookmarks and general information about Heal the Bay. We hope you all can come by.

Raphael Sloane has a secret: he has developed a new way of capturing images that defies description. Using simple everyday tools such as the scanner, Sloane has turned the realm of the garden into a sensual view of endangered plants and everyday flowers.

June 6th @ G2 Gallery


On Abbot Kinney's next First Friday the G2 Gallery will be hosting a special photography reception for acclaimed nature and landscape photographers Frans Lanting, David Muench, Larry Ulrich, Marc Muench, Tom Mangelsen, and Jim Stimson. The exhibit is entitled"Boundless Vision" and is a unique look at our world through the eyes of these talented photographers.

The reception starts at 6 p.m. and lasts until 9 p.m. The gallery itself will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
